We put the focus on what really matters

Education
Since 2007, Nyimusa has been breaking barriers to education for underprivileged children in Uganda. By partnering with boarding schools and soon opening our very own nursery and primary school, we provide not only quality education but also a safe and supportive environment that will welcome up to 300 children.

Nyimusa Village
In 2021, we began building Nyimusa Village on 8 acres in Buwama, 70 km from Kampala. This holistic community will be a place where children can live, learn, and dream—combining education, family, and opportunity.
School for 300 Students
We will provide nursery, primary, and vocational training in one place.
Family & Boarding Homes
Family-style housing for the youngest, boarding for older students.
Community Inclusion
Welcoming both local tuition-paying students and those in need.
Healthcare
We provide essential treatments, sexual health education, and clean water for our community. Our long-term vision is to open our own health clinic at Nyimusa Village.
Farming
Farming is central to life at Nyimusa Village and goes far beyond simply producing food. On more than five acres, we grow crops such as coffee, ginger, beans, vegetables, matoke, and passion fruit. This not only ensures food security for the children in our care but also creates opportunities for learning and community development.

Over five acres of crops provide nutritious meals for our children.
Education & Training
In partnership with NGOs, we teach local farmers sustainable methods.
Financial Sustainability
Crop sales generate income to fund our programs.

Community Empowerment
We believe supporting children in need starts with strong, genuine ties to the community. Through our outreach program, we visit villages, build meaningful relationships, listen to their voices, and provide essential hygiene and sanitation products, and create safe spaces to discuss sensitive topics. We also work on uplifting the community through income-generating opportunities.
Community Connections
Building trust and relationships with local communities.
Health & Education
Creating safe spaces for discussions on HIV, teenage pregnancy, and female health.
Empowering Livelihoods
Offering income-generating opportunities in agriculture, construction, and administrative work at Nyimusa Village.
